Four week trial
We welcome new members to try out our CSA with a 4-week trial. New members may start their 4-week trial at any time, even after our season has begun. During the trial you will experience the same control over your account as a committed member. Use this trial period to discover what amount of fruit is best for you as you can both upgrade and downgrade share sizes during your trial. All trials are non-refundable.
Season commitments
We operate our CSA year-round. To help with administration and organization and to provide a savings for our members who support us through the Fall/Winter season, we have returned to a more traditional CSA format and now offer two subscriptions: Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.
Because our CSA supports our farm when we most need it (late fall and late spring) and is a tremendous help in avoiding the trap of off-season debt, we ask for season-long commitments from our members. We know that a full season payment can be a hardship or inconvenient financially, so we have arranged for a half season installment plan in which our members can pay for the first half of their deliveries and upon picking up the finial delivery of that installment, will be charged for the remainder of the season. If you strongly wish to support our farm and will commit to a full season, but need a more bite-sized payment plan, please contact us.
Vacation hold credits
If you choose not to donate your box and place a traditional vacation hold, at the end of the season if you renew, a dollar credit based on the number of boxes you have had on hold can be used towards the payment the next season. Active members will receive this dollar credit applied to their next season in addition to their 10% off loyalty discount. Vacation holds must be initiated 5 days in advance of your delivery day.
Damage or unsatisfactory fruit
Though CSAs are often ‘the good, the bad, and whatever we have’, our policy has always been to replace any damaged or unsatisfactory fruit if requested. We are more dedicated than ever in providing fresh, great tasting fruit from our farm (or in the winter, our partner farms!) and hope that every box is to your liking. While blemishes or some bruising is to be expected, if fruit in your box is damaged or unsatisfactory, contact us and we will do what we can to make things right.
