On Tuesday the 11th, I visited with Rebecca Klein of Lafayette who is creating a wonderful new vision for CSAs and for connecting schools and churches with local farmers for their food needs. Her CSA site is located at Temple Isaiah in Lafayette.
For us, “tis the season” of cold, wet weather… Working in muddy soil to prune 25,000 trees, rake the prunings, trap gophers, and generally get the trees ready for the coming years crop.
