Greetings Members! Can you believe it’s already week 14 of the season? That means there are only 13 weeks left of the Spring/Summer season- I Thank You for your support if you’ve been with us all season, and wish you a Welcome if you are a new trail member. Please feel free to contact me, Melissa, if you have issues, questions, or want to change your box settings for vacations. My number is (925) 634-2845 x 206 and my email is melissa@froghollow.com I wanted to share a couple of fun, delicious, and easy fruit recipes Al and Becky have shared over the years,:

Peach Bruschetta with Blue Cheese:

Serves 4
    – 4 Slices of thick hearty bread -2 Peaches (The Sun crest’s from this week will be perfect!) -Frog Hollow Olive Oil for Brushing -1/4 lb Blue Cheese (or more mild cheese for children)
Broil bread briefly on both sides, then remove and brush with olive oil. Add Cheese and allow to heat up briefly on bread, then remove and add thick slices of peaches to each Toast. Adapted from The San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market Cookbook, published by Chronicle Books.

Frog Hollow Farm Summer Fruit Parfait:

Serves 4 -3 Cups sliced fresh fruit -3 Cups Vanilla Ice Cream or your favorite Plain or vanilla yogurt -1 Jar Conserves (Peach, Plum, Apricot, Cherry-Apricot all work) -4 oz. Granola Layer 3/4 cup fruit over 3/4 cup ice cream evenly into 4 parfait glasses. Dollop 3 tablespoons fruit topping over the ice cream in each glass. Top each glass with an ounce of granola.
