Monthly Archives: November 2014

A note from Sarah: November 17th
Looking Forward to November Showers! Rain is in the forecast! Whooo-Hoooo!!! I was up in Tahoe this weekend and there is NO snow. I have gone up there for years in November and there is normally at least a couple of feet on the ground at lake level. This year, there is only a dusting on the mountains above the tree line. We are starting to get a few more chilling hours – up to 14, which is less than half of what we had last year at this time, but pretty normal for this time of year in past years. While Al and Becky have been in Italy, we’ve taken the opportunity to clean things up around the farm. Friday, we had a clean-up day down at our farm worker housing area. I called in 1-800-Got-Junk and they hauled away a truck load (stuff the crew didn’t want any more) to be recycled. They celebrated their hard work with a couple of pizzas. I saw a lot of smiles as they sat back, pizza in hand looking at their hard work. It looks great down there now. Just a reminder we’re doing the Wednesday deliveries on Monday. Tuesday and Thursday will BOTH be made on Tuesday next week, so don’t forget to pick up your boxes! If you have questions about when your delivery is scheduled, please email Jennifer at jennifer@froghollow.com. She’s planning on emailing anyone who may have an odd ball day or location, but if you don’t hear and you’re confused, please email her directly. Farmer Al is back Tuesday so he’ll be back in the saddle of writing your newsletters next week. Since I won’t be writing to everyone before Thanksgiv- ing, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with healthy, tasty food and laughter to brighten your day, and family, friends and loved ones to be thankful for the food on your tables. Now start your rain dances!

 Good Health!

 Sarah
