{"id":3611,"date":"2014-02-04T18:27:53","date_gmt":"2014-02-04T18:27:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/happychildcsa.com\/?p=3611"},"modified":"2014-02-04T18:27:53","modified_gmt":"2014-02-04T18:27:53","slug":"sliced-citrus-salad-with-olives-and-chili","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/happychildcsa.com\/froghollowCSA\/sliced-citrus-salad-with-olives-and-chili\/","title":{"rendered":"Sliced Citrus Salad with Olives and Chili"},"content":{"rendered":"<strong>Ingredients<\/strong>\n\n3 Oranges ( a mix of Navel and Moro blood orange will look beautiful)\n\nFrog Hollow Farm extra virgin olive oil\n\nFlaky sea salt such as Maldon\n\n3 tablespoons Castelvetrano olives (or your favorite variety) thinly sliced\n\nChili powder\n\n<b>Preparation<\/b>\n\nSlice the tops and bottoms off of the oranges so they can stand on the\u00a0cutting board.\u00a0 Following the curve of the orange, use a very sharp paring knife to remove the peel and the white pith.\u00a0 If you lose a little of the orange in this process, that's ok.\u00a0 You want the flesh of the fruit to be exposed and glossy. \u00a0Lay the curved side of the orange onto your cutting board.\u00a0 Slice the orange into rounds.\u00a0 The slices should resemble flowers.\u00a0 Slice all of the oranges in this manner.\n\nArrange the orange slices onto a plate or platter in a circular pattern.
