Pink skins and a creamy white\u00a0colored flesh that resists browning makes this an excellent apple for salads\u00a0and slicing.\r\n\r\n<strong>Shinko Asian Pear<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe Shinko has a round shape which is slightly flattened. The skin is bronze\u00a0with brown russeting and its juicy, creamy white flesh has a subtly rich\u00a0flavor. One of the last pears to pick, it comes off the tree with a butterscotch\u00a0note to its sweetness.\r\n\r\n<strong>Warren Pear<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe Warren pear has a classic European texture \u2013 very soft and juicy \u2013 with\u00a0a silky sweetness that avoids the typical grittiness found in most varieties.\r\n\r\n<strong>Flavor Treat Pluot<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThese large, late-season pluots are reddish-purple over tender, yellow flesh\u00a0that\u2019s extremely juicy. One of our last stone-fruits of the season, the Flavor\u00a0Treat are a welcome reminder of the height of summer.\r\n\r\n<strong>Pomegranate<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<em>Twin Girls Farm, Yettem, CA<\/em>\r\n\r\nNative to the regions of Persia and the Western Himalayan range,\u00a0pomegranates have been cultivated for several millennia. When sliced open\u00a0a beautiful array of jewel like seeds are displayed. The aril is the colorful\u00a0casing that surrounds the edible seeds and has a sweet tart flavor.
