For those who have fruit trees,\u00a0this is a great opportunity to learn how to keep your trees healthy and\u00a0productive.\n\nThere are many reasons why Frog Hollow fruit tastes so good. Pruning is one of them. By allowing maximum light and air to reach leading\u00a0branches, and by selectively pruning (or thinning) out small ones, we\u00a0are able to ensure our fruit is sweet and that our branches are laden with\u00a0fruit.\n\nFarmer Al and Kristin will be leading the workshop to explain the basic\u00a0principles of pruning, go over the pruning techniques we use at Frog\u00a0Hollow, and demonstrate specific cuts. Participants will then break out\u00a0into groups and work on making cuts of their own under guidance.\n\nIt should prove to be a fun and educational day. Fruit and hot tea are\u00a0provided.
