\"20150417_104848\"<\/a><\/p>\nI started my life at Frog Hollow Farm 28 years ago. I was born out East in the Yosemite Valley, but as a toddler I was shipped away to my new home in Brent- wood. When we arrived at the farm, I was quickly scooped up and shown to my living quarters. In no time I began to flourish in my new home. I was fed\n\na healthy diet and drank a lot of water; quickly I got taller, wider and acclimatized to the long, dry days under the sun.\n\nOver the years, I have worked extremely hard for Farmer Al. During the winter\nI rest and store my energy, in order to be ready for Spring when I vigorously create the sweet treasures I was brought here to produce. Every year, a person scampers around me on a ladder, cutting off my ex- tra limbs and stealing my fruit, right when I was about to enjoy it!\n\nThis season, after years of tireless labor, Farmer Al has finally granted me a luxurious retirement plan. This summer, for the first time in decades, he says I am allowed to relax. To top off my new gig,\n\nFarmer Al has given me a gaggle of beautiful women to spend my day with. Now let me tell you about my new gang. I'll admit these ladies are a bit loud, al- ways arguing and gossiping; they never let me sleep in in the morning! However, they are wonderful housemates. They keep busy eating the bugs that try to bur- row into my bark and always keep my base free of weeds. Yesterday, they even fended off a tree squirrel that wanted to nest in my canopy. In a few months, I will reward my new roommates with sweet fruit that will fall at their feet.\n\nThis year I watched as all my neighbors were pruned and thinned. Meanwhile, I got to kick back, bask in the Brentwood sunshine, and hang out with my new friends.\n\n<\/div>\n
