Recipe: Pears with Honey and Rosemary

Ingredients
2 Pears
2 small sprigs rosemary
3 tablespoons honey from FHF
1.5 teaspoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
3/4 cups water

Preparation
Preheat your oven to 375F.
In a small saucepan bring the water, honey, and lemon juice to a low simmer.
Meanwhile, use a sharp paring knife to cut the pears in half lenthwise. Remove the
core. Peel the skin with a vegetable peeler or your knife. In a baking dish just large
enough to place the pears in a single layer, put the pears cut side down. Pour the
honey mixture over the pears and cover them tightly with a piece of tinfoil.
Bake the pears for 30-40 minutes or until just tender. Carefully remove the pears
from the dish and set them aside to cool. Pour the honey mixture and juices
remaining in the baking dish into the small saucepan and add the rosemary. Bring
everything to a low simmer and the mixture has thickened and is bubbly. Set it
aside to cool slightly.

Plate your pears, pour the syrup on top, and enjoy!
