Orange and Avocado Salsa

Oranges and avocados are wonderful together. This fast and easy salsa is sure to please.

Ingredients
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
2 cups ice water
3 oranges
2 avocados
2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
salt

Preparation
To take some of the pungency out of the onion, soak the slices in a bowl of ice water for about 30 minutes.

Drain the onion and add it to a medium bowl. Slice off opposing sides of the oranges and then peel with a sharp pairing knife. Section the oranges and cut the sections into thirds. Add the oranges to the bowl. Cut the avocodos into 1/4 inch dice and add to the bowl. Sprinkle on the lime juice and mix gently. Salt to taste and enjoy!
