Recipe: Baked Asian Pear Chips

Baked Asian Pear Chips

2 ripe asian pears
1/2 tsp cinnamon

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F.
  2. Begin slicing the Asian pears into very thin slices, starting from the stem and ending at the bottom. Be sure to remove any seeds from the pears. You may use a mandolin to make the slicing easier.
  3. Grab a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper or a silicone mat.Place the asian pear slices onto the baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle both sides of the Asian pear with the cinnamon.
  5. Bake the Asian pears for 1 hour.
  6. Remove from oven and flip over to other side.
  7. Bake for another hour.
  8. Remove from over and flip once more.
  9. Bake for another hour.
  10. Turn off the heat and allow the slices to cooloff in the oven (approximately for an hour).
  11. Remove from oven and serve or store in an airtight container.
